Wool felt acoustic panels with machined grooves next to stacked grey packaging

// Briefing

The brief

Halden makes acoustic panels from recycled wool felt. Architects liked the product but couldn’t find it: the company looked like every other building supplier, with a stock logo and grey PDFs.

They needed a brand an architect would recognise on a spec sheet and remember in a showroom.

The idea

The machined grooves in every panel became the system. The mark is three stacked bars, the type sits on the same rhythm, and each box carries one orange band, the only colour in the identity, so a pallet reads from across a warehouse.

// Debrief

The new packaging shipped with the spring 2026 range. The groove system now runs across spec sheets, the showroom and the website.
